Well I try using Myspace, but definitely is not for me. NO se puede decir que realmente lo use, I just don't think is for me. Es like teen behavior, which I have never understood, especially in this country. What's up with all those girls (10-15) that suddendly want to be in myspace, y tener amigos y ser sexualmente atrevidas con personas que ni conocen. The bombardment of pornography on those sites is very extreme. I never thought about that when I was 12, like some people I know.
Acaso es the privacy and anonimidad que ofrece el internet que permite a la gente ser y hacer cosas que talvez no haria si fuera en vivo. Pero que pasa despues de que profesas algo por tanto tiempo, acaso se cree uno la mentira. Is this a self-fullfilling prophecy. Las niñas que dicen tener 17 años o mas, dicen ser sexualmente activas, usar drogas, ser bisexuales, andar con malas influencias. pero en realidad no son mas que unas chamacas que quieren ser parte of the in crowd
. They want to belong so they may end up showing their real friends in life that they are as thought as they portrait themselves in the internet. Se vuelve esto una realidad y un problema para la familia?Por lo que va de mi experiencia en Myspace, I definitely prefer to have no friends through that site and even have none, but I will not endorse such atrocities happening to the youth. People need to step up and demand changes, demand responsabilities from the kids in those sites, the parent that allow such behavior and those that endorse or form part of such community. I have kept my profile because it allows me to monitor sites that need some check up, but otherwise I will not be using such site.
